Alberta Sport Development Centres

The Alberta Sport Connection has established a network Alberta Sport Development Centres (ASDC) across the province.

The main purpose of the ASDC network is to coordinate and enhance services available to Alberta's emerging athletes and coaches. These regional centres provide services to athletes and coaches residing in rural and urban areas allowing athletes to develop and train at a high level without leaving home.

Alberta Sport Development Centre - Central (ASDCC) is able to meet with you and your athletes to determine how we can assist your club/association. ASDCC welcomes the opportunity to share their vision of optimum performance for emerging athletes, allowing us, along with your direction, to support your team/athlete on the road to sporting excellence. We will showcase services such as performance profiling, Winning Edge seminars, which collaboratively involve the vast areas of mental training (goal setting, mental toughness, positive self-talk, imagery & visualization), nutrition/health services along with injury prevention, choosing a post-secondary education, self-marketing/sponsorship and performance enhancement strategies.
